News & Notes

To cite an old Web 0.9 meme: This site is still under construction and a personal tinkering place for me.
Most of the current academic information on me is now present but will be continually (or, more probably, irregularly) updated. New sections might be added, and the presentation of existing sections improved. I encourage any astute reader to contact me with suggestions!

The Science of I

After receiving my Diplom in computer science from the University of Würzburg, Germany, in 2010, I got my doctoral degree in computer science at the University of Vienna, Austria, in 2015, where I was a researcher at the Future Communication group. Currently, Between 2015 and 2018, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Modeling of Adaptive Systems at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Since April 2018 I am back at the Chair of Communication Networks at University of Würzburg as a postdoc researcher.
Some of my favourite topics include mobile networks and IoT traffic modeling, crowdsensing, context-based QoE monitoring and video game modeling.
